Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler was harassed by Washington cornerback DeAngelo Hall in Sunday’s matchup between the Bears and Redskins. Hall was the beneficiary of four Cutler interceptions, tying an NFL single-game record in Washington’s 17-14 win in Chicago.
Hall returned a third-quarter interception 92 yards for a touchdown in what proved to be the winning score for the Redskins. The single-game record is shared by 18 other players and hadn’t been matched since 2001 when Deltha O’Neal was a member of the Denver Broncos. Coincidentally, the 2001 Broncos were coached by Mike Shanahan, who has led the Redskins to a 4-3 record.
